Data & purpose
With your consent (GDPR 6(1)(a)), we use your email, signup date, consent record and delivery information to manage your Akadēmijas logi waiting list request and explain how to receive a physical copy. No purchase offers or unrelated newsletters. Providing an email is optional, but necessary to join the list.
Hosting services process IP addresses and request metadata; our database stores a keyed IP hash for abuse prevention, based on our legitimate interest in security (6(1)(f)). We process privacy correspondence to meet legal obligations (6(1)(c)). The private admin area uses an essential session cookie for authorised access. No advertising or analytics cookies, profiling, or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Services & transfers
Only authorised project helpers, including the author where needed, and our service providers receive the necessary data: Supabase (database, Frankfurt), Vercel (hosting; server function in the US), Resend (email; US processing) and Zoho Mail (contact correspondence). We do not sell your data.
Processing outside the EEA is subject to applicable transfer safeguards, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses where relevant. Details are in the linked terms; you can request information or copies of applicable safeguards from us.
Retention
Waiting list records and working exports: up to six months from signup, or until you unsubscribe earlier. Expired database records are deleted by hourly cleanup. IP hashes are removed at the next cleanup after 24 hours; outages may delay cleanup. Resend email history: 30 days. Privacy correspondence: normally six months after closure. Providers may retain limited security, backup, suppression or legally required records under their linked retention rules.
Unsubscribe & your rights
To unsubscribe or request deletion, reply to our email or send an email to contact@akademijaslogi.com. Requests are handled manually, free of charge, before further updates. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect earlier lawful processing.
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and, where applicable, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. We normally respond within one month. You may complain to Latvia’s Data State Inspectorate or your local data protection authority.
